Hey Everyone:
Could use everyone's help on a survey put out by Florida Black Bear Scenic Byway. Florida Black Bear Scenic Byway runs from Silver Springs to Tomoka River almost to Ormond beach. Also incorporates two spur road 19 and 445 (not for sure about 445) the road around Alexander Springs. Two things are starting to happen:
1. Black Bear Scenic byway is in the process of doing their 10 year plan for the byway, now is the time to make your voices heard regarding trails on the byway, remember paisley trail is incorporated into the byway. I would love to see that trail rerouted away from the ATV etc. That was one of my comments on the survey. The link to the survey is:

2. There is a PD&E meeting on August 18, 2011 regarding the widening of State Road 40. I am not for sure if there will be bicycle path put on that section of the road or not, I know there will be critter crossings at strategic places. I also know that from Ormond Beach to a little beyond barberville they are widening that section of the road to 6 lanes with a nice bike path on it. Show up and show some support.
