Are you an OMBA member?: Yes
What year did you start riding at Santos?: 2009
with the growing popularity of the sport of mountain biking we may have many riders who simply dont know much about trail etiquette. It may be wise to have a posting at each major trail head. No short cuts, no skidding or dragging rear tire, no widening trails by going around roots and rocks,as these are part of the single track experience. i see a lot of this on the urn and burn section and nayls.

All good points. A "trail etiquette" sign at the trailhead was talked about years ago. But that was at time when a lot of the work at the Vortex was going on, so it got put on the back burner.

You've got a good suggestion, but honesty, the only way it's going to possibly get implemented is if you go to one of the monthly meetings and make your suggestion. Everything is done by volunteers, and usually it just takes someone stepping up to the plate saying they'll volunteer to spear-head an idea or suggestion.

One of my favorite volunteer organization sayings:

"Your idea ... your project"

Now if the idea / project has merit ... you will no doubt find plenty of help .... but like JB said ... ya gotta step up to get'er done. :2thumbsup
