Old business:
Craig will drop off the trailer he donated last month this week.
Club Publicity:
Palm Beach Post and Ocala Star Banner should have articles out tomorrow on our weekend festivities. Also the Voice of Belleview. A public service announcement was heard on the radio re: Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day. Ocala "won" the City in Bloom competition for population 50-100K announced today. The judges were flown over the Greenway (pits) and met with Renee at the trailhead to discuss public-private partnerships and volunteerism. They visited many groups.
Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day:
Joan is ready and has done PR. IMBA has sent race plates, Clif bars, and stickers to be handed out. She has several shirts and water bottles to give away. All kids will register to win a Schwinn from IMBA. The banner is up on 80th St.
BBQ:
After the 10am ride, Rob, Mike and families will be grilling out. He has purchased food from Costco. Kevin Mulhall volunteered to put together Gatorade and water coolers Sat. morning. Extra membership forms will be put out by Ranger Bill. Afterwards, inventory needs to be done of shed (Monday, Renee) and cleaned up.

Sections:
- Skills: Gary inspects regularly
- Santos: in pretty good shape from the 13 hour. Rattlesnake needs trimming
- Vortex: Bill trimmed the Red Loop. Dirt work needed in bermed corners. Inspections??? Big tree down on Twister.
- Spider Kingdom: Fields need mowing, OGT knows about the mud
- Landbridge: Kevin and Tim Mulhall have been trimming
- 49th: John Brigan wants to help Kevin and Tim
- Nayls:
- Paisley: Is in great shape per Mike Stephens. Rain helped the sand, less motorcycles. 2 10 mile loops, NO cell phone service.
FTF:
- Sponsors: Added Retro Cycles, Hammer to Santos Bike Shop, Ocala Bicycle Center, Kona, Trek, and Women's Trek. No charge for vendor village this year (or will swap hook-up sites for vendor spots). Still no promise from Toyota.
- Brochure: Need updated cover, two photos, change dates, send to printer asap. Send to Joan asap for Active.com. Get with Lindsay. Everyone was positive about Toyota possibly on the cover. Need new photos inside. Lynn Stock is out of town. Will order 1000 brochures from Printing for Less.com
- Registration: Members start 10/15. Opens November 1st in front of SWAMP weekend. Want to get brochures to Suwannee and SWAMP. $75 non-members, $70 members, $20 per night for hookup, $35 part time volunteer and kids. Curt's wife, Vicki, will help at the PO Box and send info to Joan.
- Swag: Voted on regular tees for attendees, technical fabric for volunteers only. Dark green or blue shirts suggested. Single color front, back, and sleeves.
- Glass mugs: still want to beef up the spider and spell out club name. No date.
- Reviewed FTF Budget presented by Curt Reffner. Most income is from registrations. Will lock in a movie screen soon. Tim Mulhall will contact the Atlanta vendor for a better price. Estimates are $2250 and $3000 right now. Last year we spent $750.
- Insurance: Do the single event policy like last year. Joan did the research, and our club does not hold any other events that need coverage.
